I had a really terrible shoulder that I had lived with barely for just over ten years. I had gone to shoulder specialists here in Boise, my doctor and everyone said that everything looked fine. It became so painful I couldn’t walk straight it was... totally horrible. I had a cortisone shot which helped but the problem remained. I went to Optimal spine and they found out after they aligned me I had knots under my shoulder, on top of my shoulder and in my chest. So after a few weeks Optimal Spine corrected my shoulder and I can’t tell which shoulder was bad now. I also had a lower back pain that would not go away and they put me on a program to straighten my spine and level my pelvis and that got me on track. Now recently, I have a disc that is bulging and causing me not to be able to stand or walk. My left thigh is in a lot of pain up high and in the front. They are taking excellent care of me and I am able to walk with little pain after 2 visits. I can lay down now and the problem is being corrected without surgery. I am so thankful that I went to them!!! I thought I was going to be impossible to fix. I am going on my third fix without surgery thanks to the staff at Optimal Spine on State street and Glennwood!Thanks guys!!!read more

Optimal Spine and Posture is a great place! I signed up after they were offering a deal for a free evaluation, turned out I had scoliosis that was causing my headaches. They were very accommodating with my scheduling needs and helped us set up a... payment plan that was doable. I completed a 3 month long treatment which hugely helped my spine get back to normal and most importantly got rid of my headaches when I used to get them every day. The staff is kind, knowledgeable, and very easy to contact. First I would like to say that the entire staff at Optimal Spine and Posture are ROCK STARS! I love them all. My journey started with Dr. Justin at OSP about a month ago. I have always had slight scoliosis and pain in my lower back. But after 22... years of sitting at a desk job, I have developed very bad posture, multiple curvatures and scoliosis is much worse. I was in a lot of pain all the time, not only in my back, but also in my hips. I had lost balance and coordination and had to use a cane/walking stick. Dr. Justin diagnosed my numerous issues with my spine and also my hips (my right leg is shorter than the left) ... CRAZY that I never knew this in 60+ years! I am at one month in of a 3 month treatment plan at this point, but in the first 2 weeks, I stopped using my cane. I am getting better and better every day, and I am very grateful and have a lot of hope that I will have a straight spine and good posture when my treatment is done. I will always be a regular client of OSP even after my treatment to make sure I am always straight (literally). I will update my post at the end of my treatment. Hopefully, I will be able to report that I have regained some of the 2+ inches I have lost on my height as an added bonus!read more

I'm a patient with extreme scoliosis and was not comfortable going to a standard chiropractor as traditional adjustments would have zero effect on helping me with my dual curvature. Optimal and Dr. Justin Anderson took a different approach and set... me up on a plan that involved traction at the clinic as well as home exercises. My back has never felt better and I can feel and see the difference in my posture and body. It is pretty incredible given the degree of my curvature (70). My goal was/is avoid surgery and my work with Dr. Anderson has done that. His staff is terrific. I work from home on a computer, pretty much all day and knew my posture was suffering as a result, I had neck and lower back pain. Mild, but we are more... of a "treat the root of the problem early, as opposed to look for an invasive quick fix later in life" kind of family. I went in for an x-ray and sure enough my lower back and neck were off. I go in for treatments a few times a week and feel so much better!
